Privacy notice

This notice covers www.taskhitch.com and the TaskHitch launch-updates list. It is run by TaskHitch LLC. Questions go to support@taskhitch.com.
What we collect
When you sign up for launch updates we keep:
- your email address, and your first name if you give it;
- when you signed up or unsubscribed.
To stop the form being abused, we also keep a scrambled, one-way form of your IP address for no more than a day. It cannot be turned back into the address.
What we do not collect
This site has no analytics, no advertising, no cookies and no tracking pixels. Our emails do not track whether you open them or which links you click.
How we use it
Only to send you the launch updates you asked for. We do not sell your details or share them with anyone except the services below, which handle them for us and for no other purpose.
Services we use
- Supabase stores the list, in the United States.
- Postmark sends our emails.
- GitHub Pages hosts this site, and so receives the usual details of any web visit, such as your IP address.
- Google Fonts supplies the site's typefaces, and so receives your IP address when the page loads.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only a record that the address is unsubscribed, so we never email it again by mistake — ask us and we will delete that too.
Your choices
Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also write to support@taskhitch.com at any time to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use details you have already given us, we will email you first.
